This used straight trombone is a bit of a Frankenhorn. It has a lightweight nickel handslide from a Bach 42 that dates back to the early 1980's. With it is a press-fit removable leadpipe.
Its bell is an Edwards prototype detachable bell, designated by the "PROTO" engraving on the throat. This is a great horn that was once owned and played by a member of the Baltimore Symphony Trombone Section.
